EFFECTS OF SPACE TRAVEL

Image
Travel Venturing into the environment of space can have negative effects on the human body. ... Additional symptoms include fluid redistribution (causing the "moon-face" appearance typical in pictures of astronauts experiencing weightlessness), loss of body mass, nasal congestion, sleep disturbance, and excess flatulence. Imagine you are strapped into your seat in the space shuttle on the launch pad, ready for liftoff. The countdown comes to an end "5.4.3. 2. 1. Ignition!" The rockets fire, and you feel yourself being pushed into your seat as the shuttle heads into the sky. The push you feel is called G-force. It makes your body feel up to three times heavier than usual. You can get an of what this feels like when you are in an elevator and it starts going up. But when you get into orbit, the G-force stops. Suddenly, you feel you have no weight at all! You become weightless. We call this state zero gravity, or zero g, because it feels as if the earth'

A Careless Cook

Although taken from a short story set in East Africa, this incident could happen anywhere to any girl helping her mother to cook. It was the satisfied cluckings of chickens finishing the remains of a great feast that reminded me of the groundnuts. Yes, every nut was gone.  How stupid I had been to leave them uncovered with the kitchen door wide open, But such self-reproach did not occur to me at the time.  For I was filled with a terrible anger and an overwhelming desire to punish the greedy offenders. I seized a pestle and raised it high up above my head. By this time they had seen me and were flying in disorder all over the kitchen. They tumbled over each each other through the doorway.  I let down my powerful weapon just in time to hit the last one right on the head. I did hit! It was the most active hen of the lot and therefore my bitterest enemy.  Got you this time!" I gasped in triumph as it croaked painfully. But my victory song did not last, for in a minute the poor thin

16 MAJOR WAYS TO BLOCK MOBILE ATTACKS & TIPS (CYBER SECURITY) Don't let your guard down just because you're on a mobile device. Be just as careful as you would be on a desktop!  This is the best General Knowledge on Cyber Security as far as it is consernied.  1. WiFi Don't allow your device to auto-join unfamiliar networks. Always turn off WiFi when you aren't using it or don't need it. Never send sensitive information over WIFI unless you're absolutely sure it's a secure network. 2. Apps -Only use apps available in your device's official store-NEVER download from a browser. Be wary of apps from unknown developers or those with limited/bad reviews. Keep them updated to ensure they have the latest security. If they're no longer supported by your store, just delete! Don't grant administrator, or excessive privileges to apps unless you truly trust them. 3. Browser -Watch out for ads, giveaways and contests that seem too good to be tr

WALK INTO THE MOON AND DISCOVER IT'S STRANGE INFLUENCE SECRETS.

The Secret History of the Moon is a 2020 short speculative animated documentary film created by astronomy-themed musician and filmmaker John D. Boswell .  It explores the proposed explanations on how the Moon was formed, using rocks collected from the Apollo 11. T he Moon is Earth's only natural satellite.  At about one-quarter the diameter of Earth,  It is the largest natural satellite in the Solar System relative to the size of a major planet.  The fifth largest satellite in the Solar System overall, and is larger than any known dwarf planet.  Specifications of the Moon  Gravity : 1.62 m/s²  Distance to Earth: 384,400 km Age : 4.53 billion years Radius : 1,737.4 km Orbital period : 27 days Surface area: 3.793×107 km2; (0.074 of Earth's) Surface pressure : 10−7 Pa (1 picobar) (day); 10−10 Pa (1 femtobar); (night); What are the benefits of Moon ? The brightest and largest object in our night sky,  the Moon makes Earth a more livable planet by moderating our hom

Journey into Space

Journey into space By: Terrydenzo Studios In ancient times, astronomers studied the stars in the night sky. Later, they were able to gaze through telescopes. Today, we can study space from space itself.  Astronomers have discovered all kinds of remarkable things about space from satellites and other spacecraft that journey to the planets.  Planets are heavenly bodies which travel around a sun. We live at the bottom of a thick layer of gases called the atmosphere.  This provides us with oxygen to breathe, it keeps us warm, and it protects us.  As we travel up through the earth's atmosphere, the gases are less concentrated.  As the air becomes thinner and thinner, it grows difficult to breathe.  At a height of about 6 miles (10 kilometers), we can't breathe at all without extra oxygen. Higher still, only a whiff of air remains.  When we reach a height of 99 miles (160 kilometers). there is almost no air at all. We are about to enter space. What is space? I

CAN COMPUTERS THINK LIKE HUMANS?

Image
Can Computers Think? By:  TerrydenzoStudios / sat,Jan 15 Al means a computer capable of rational thought of the same quality as human rational thought. Many computer experts believe the development of Al is possible, even inevitable humanists disagree saying there are fundamental reasons why a machine can never think like a human. Have you read or seen a science fiction story in which computers could do everything that humans can do? In real life, computers are not that clever, though they sometimes seem to be. You can play chess with a computer, but you'll probably lose! This is not because the computer is more intelligent than you are. It's because the computer has been programmed to work out quickly every possible move on the chess board, And what effect it will have on the game. If the computer is correctly programmed, it can't make a wrong move. Some people believe that one day computers really will function like a human brain. Others think that situation is just scie
